My shop came out necessity.

I've always loved to create and fool around with color. So when I couldn't find the jewelry color combinations I wanted, I made them. I wanted specific color combinations that would blend to echo an outfit or holiday precisely, yet still be elegant.

That's when I started beading. First with beaded wrap bracelets, then with the slender dangle earrings. I wanted vibrant color, smooth color gradients and earrings which would pop - so they wouldn't get lost in my hair.

Then I discovered that while I loved my beaded earrings, some times they were 2Sophisticated! So I decided to bring a little personality to my casual wardrobe, by echoing some of my graphic tees and voilà! enter in bottlecaps. Some of my bottlecap earrings are still elegant (to be dressed down or up - champagne cage caps), while others are just fun (Arrogant Bastard ale, Fat Tire). They're perfect for that SoCal uniform - jeans and a T-shirt. Besides, having a cool one is now a business necessity!
